All time in pay and dollar transactions must have an
accounting code associated with them. If all of your
time in pay and dollar transactions are charged to the
same account you may store an account at NFC to use for
all transactions for an employee.
Alternatively, you may use locally stored accounting. Locally
stored accounts work similarly to NFC stored accounting, but
the account is stored in webTA rather than at NFC. webTA then
includes the accounting in the transmission file to NFC.
This option is useful for agencies that want to generate
reports from webTA that are based on account codes, but have
set accounts for employees.
If you charge to more than one account but always charge to
the same accounts see the
Retain Data function for options that may be more appropriate.
The three options for this field are:
Manual Entry
You must select an account for each line of time in pay and
dollar transactions.
Use Stored Account (NFC)
Store and use the selected account at NFC for all time in pay
and dollar transactions. To use NFC Stored Accounting,
click on the radio button next to Stored Account (NFC),
then select the Account number to store from the Account
dropdown list.
Use Local Stored Account
Store and use the account locally for all time in pay
and dollar transactions. To use Local Stored Accounting,
click on the radio button next to Stored Account (Local),
then select the Account number to store from the Account
dropdown list.
